In the Church

Our Sunday School hour offers classes for all ages.  We use the D6 material for our children’s classes and one of our adult classes.

The D6 material is a way to reconnect families by studying the same lesson each week.  We also offer other adult classes that

relate God’s Word to our daily lives.

A few years ago our youth group gave themselves the name Relentless.  The meaning behind the name tells how they want to be on a Relentless pursuit of God and His will for their lives.

Every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. we offer an adult Bible Study and prayer, and classes for children of all ages.  This is another opportunity for us to gather as a body of believers and to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and to fellowship with one another.

On the third Thursday of every month, at 11:30 a.m., we host a luncheon for the our Senior Adults.  This is a good time of food, fellowship, and feeding on God’s Word.

“Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us exhort one another: and so much the more as you see the day approaching.”  Hebrews 10:25

Today we live in a culture that is constantly on the move while being attached to some form of electronic devise.  Yet in the midst of our busy schedules and unlimited texting we rarely find the time to sit down face to face to share life with others.  Our Small Group ministry provides us the opportunity to fellowship while we study God’s Word together.  We believe that Small Groups is where relationships are built and community is experienced.

Through our Small Groups we desire to see the following take place:

Deepen our walk with Christ, Develop Leaders, Provide Ministry Opportunities, Expand the Boundaries of the Church, Allow for Outreach, Create Healthy Community, Develop Spiritual Gifts, Allow for Accountability, Engage in Discipleship, and Deepen our walk with Christ.

Several factors may help you in finding a Small Group.  We encourage you to check out several places before you make up your mind.

Don’t feel obligated to a group just because you visit it once.  The goal is to find the right Small Group for you.  This may take a while with the number of groups we offer.  So take your time.  But be sure and get plugged in to one!  The most important thing is following the Holy Spirit’s leading to the group for you.
